My name is Jorge, I’m a telecommunications engineer from Jaén, and I work as an Innovation Analyst in Madrid. I joined Ayming in November 2024, with no prior experience in the R&D sector.
My work routine
My days are a mix of teamwork, research, and client collaboration. I analyze technical documentation, exchange ideas with colleagues, and work closely with clients to shape innovative projects that create measurable value. I also meet regularly with my manager and team leader to ask questions and keep learning — every single day brings new insights.
My main activities include
Participating in client meetings
Documenting R&D activities from both a technical and financial perspective, across various projects in telecommunications and IT
Calculating bonuses and deductions in line with current legislation
Helping identify new innovative projects
Managing clients and project operations, supporting project identification and certification processes
Typical projects I work on
One project I’m especially proud of involved supporting a financial services company that developed predictive models using artificial intelligence to assess default probability and estimate future credit losses. Through our collaboration, we validated the project’s innovative scope, structured the R&D documentation, and secured a tax deduction exceeding €1.5 million — a tangible result that shows how innovation and strategic support can drive real business impact.
My team
What makes my team unique is its strong spirit of collaboration. Everyone is ready to help, share knowledge, and celebrate each other’s successes. That support makes even the toughest projects enjoyable.
Our team brings together people with different levels of experience, from newcomers taking their first steps in the field to experts with over eight years in the R&D sector. We hold weekly meetings to identify bottlenecks, share progress, and plan our work — ensuring efficiency and alignment across all projects.
